When trading internationally, strategically setting prices for products and services can be challenging due to many influencing factors, including currency exchange rates, economic conditions, production expenses, your competitors and the income levels of consumers in your target market.

This practical, interactive workshop is designed to help you learn how to set your international pricing at a level that will appeal to consumers whilst still generating a positive return for your business. The evening will cover:

• Building export pricing
• An update on foreign exchange markets and trends, including how to manage risk and uncertainty
• When and how you will get paid
• How negotiations fit into the mix
• Understanding the five “deal breakers”

Why not also take advantage of the one to one support available prior to the event with a HSBC finance specialist. This is an ideal opportunity for you to address any questions you may have on the following two topics, in a confidential one to one forum:

• Funding your overseas sales
• Reducing currency risk when trading overseas

A limited number of slots are on offer and will be booked on a first come, first served basis.

Funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), this event on Wednesday 22 May 2013 at The NSPCC National Training Centre, Leicester will commence with registration and light refreshments from 4.45 pm, with the presentations beginning at 5.15 pm. The evening will draw to a close at 7.30 pm followed by a networking buffet supper.
