This device is fitted with a Type B filter ensuring tripping for AC currents, pulsating DC currents and smooth DC fault currents.
Proteus Switchgear’s Type B RCDs are suitable for many applications, where more comprehensive detection is required as Type B RCDs have the capability to detect various fault currents, including smooth DC fault currents.
Applications which may require a Type B RCD include Electric vehicle charging, solar installations, as well as when installing an air source heat pump. This device is exclusively available from CEF.
