Wickham Laboratories Announces Expansion Of Media Preparation Facilities

Wickham Laboratories Ltd is pleased to announce the recent expansion of our media preparation department. This change includes the purchase of a new autoclave and the construction of an airlock entry with a HEPA filtration system.

As part of our commitment to using only the best quality materials in our testing, we operate an in-house media preparation facility where our dedicated Media Preparation team prepare a wide assortment of the routine media used in our day to day testing. This includes agars, liquid broths, diluents, wash fluids and sterile instruments.

Ensuring the sterility of the media we produce is of utmost importance as it is used in our laboratory in the testing of a wide variety of essential pharmaceutical products and medical devices. The additional autoclave which was brought in as part of this expansion will allow us to increase production capacity and the new airlock system provides a greater deal of control over any potential microbial risks in this aseptic area.

We feel confident that these changes further provide both us and our clients with the assurance that all of the media used in our testing has been produced to the highest possible standard.
