Under the banner of the ABHI UK Pavilion, UK businesses will exhibit at WHX Miami 2025 - the largest international medical trade show in the Americas at the Miami Beach Convention Center.

Formerly known as FIME, the event draws thousands of healthcare professionals, distributors, and decision-makers from across the globe.

The Pavilion, organised by the Association of British HealthTech Industries (ABHI), is designed to accelerate UK firms’ global growth, providing a springboard into the Americas, one of the world’s fastest-growing healthcare regions.

Among the UK exhibitors:

• Biopanda Reagents Ltd – Based in Northern Ireland, Biopanda manufactures in vitro diagnostic test kits spanning clinical, veterinary, and food safety sectors. Its rapid drug of abuse and diagnostic tests are supplied globally, backed by ISO 13485:2016 certification.
• BLOCCS® – This award-winning brand offers waterproof protectors for casts and dressings, allowing patients to bathe, swim and shower safely. BLOCCS® products are used in over 25 countries, reducing infection risk and supporting recovery.
• HEMPE – Drawing on decades of scientific research, HEMPE provides topical solutions for muscle relief, joint aches, and skin conditions, delivering effective, plant-based alternatives for everyday health.
• GBUK Group – A key player in critical care, enteral feeding, and vascular access, GBUK combines innovation with a strong sustainability agenda. The company supports hospital and homecare settings with a focus on safety and regulatory excellence.
• Seers Medical – A leader in medical furniture, Seers will showcase their physiotherapy treatment table featuring antimicrobial, easy-clean upholstery. The firm is also advancing its net zero roadmap, with its manufacturing site powered by solar energy.
• Surtex Instruments - A UK-based surgical instrument specialist, will be exhibiting its latest INFINEX™ range - a high-precision line of instruments designed specifically for microsurgical and cardiovascular procedures.

Additional UK exhibitors include Surgimax, Biotronics 3D, Haigh, and Timesco Healthcare.

Lauren Hayes, International Business Development Manager at ABHI, said: “WHX Miami offers a dynamic launchpad for UK companies looking to engage directly with key buyers across the Americas. With a record attendance anticipated, this year’s Pavilion will showcase the depth of UK innovation and open doors to long-term growth opportunities.”

The event comes at a pivotal time for UK exporters. The US digital health market alone is estimated at $88 billion, while Brazil leads the Latin American healthcare economy.

WHX Miami 2024 attracted over 13,800 attendees from 116 countries and facilitated an estimated $480 million in business. The 2025 edition is expected to surpass those figures, with over 1,300 exhibitors and a projected 150,000 healthcare professionals participating.
