UK Businesses Urged To Upskill Staff To Boost Growth And Export Ambitions

Integral to the Government’s Exporting is Great campaign; this call to action comes from the Institute of Export (IOE) – whose aim is to professionalise global trade by providing recognised, formal qualifications in international trade.

Its range of courses include a BSc (Hons) Management Practice - International Trade with Plymouth University; an MSc in International Trade, Strategy and Operations in conjunction with the University of Warwick; and a Foundation Degree in Professional Practice in International Trade in partnership with Anglia Ruskin University.

All three degree programmes have a January 2016 intake, while there is rolling entry to the IOE’s certificate and diploma courses – all of which are designed to fit around a full-time career and are delivered through distance learning or part-time and full-time study.

The IOE as a professional body regulated by Ofqual in the UK offers recognised, formal qualifications in International Trade. As an Awarding Organisation the IOE provides qualifications within the Government Regulated Qualification Framework. The Institute, working in partnership with others, currently provides qualifications from Level 1 through to Level 4 and 5 Foundation Degrees, and Level 6 BScs.
