One of Baydonhill’s current customers is a car component manufacturer based in the West Midlands who began exporting into Europe in 2012. Adam is the FD for the company and spoke to us about his experience.

We had previously only sold into the UK market so never had any need to deal in currency. We decided to try and expand our market and after a trade show in Europe we received several enquiries from a couple of different countries.

Over a period of time we began to export to those companies which meant we started to receive payments in EUR. Initially we used our bank for this but not long after we had started we were contacted by Baydonhill, had a visit from one of their sales guys, opened an account and not looked back.

Baydonhill keep everything very simple, which I like, keep me up to date with what the EUR rate is doing and when it’s a good time for me to sell back into GBP. We are still very new to this and I like the way Baydonhill take the hassle and worry out of the whole currency part of our business, not to mention the savings they have made us on exchange rates and bank charges.
