The GastroCHECK is a portable breath monitor that measures Hydrogen (H2), Methane (CH4) and Oxyge(O2) for the purpose of aiding the diagnosis of gastrointestinal conditions such as:-
• Carbohydrate Breakdown Deficiency
• Lactose Intolerance
• Small instestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO)
• Determination of time passage through gut
• Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
The GastroCHECK allows health professionals to accurately detect a range of gastrointestinal disorders. An O2 reading is taken to motivate patients into providing an end-tidal sample. If the patient is unable to do this the GastroCH4ECK™ will automatically correct the reading saving the patient from embarrassment and having to carry out another test.
