The event which features “Future Surface Fleet”, “Under Water defence and Security”, “Submarine Technology”, “Surface Fleet Technology” & “Naval Damage Control” conference / exhibition are being held at the Farnborough Exhibition Centre.

The event promises to be an unforgettable experience for all attendees. Come and visit our stand at D02 to find out more about our range of high integrity aircraft deck lashings and restraints.

Drallim’s range of heavy-duty lashings known as aircraft tie downs or storm lashings are regularly used around the world to secure embarked aviation on board ship as well as a general-purpose lashing for securing various alternative heavy and demanding cargo applications where secure restraint is critical to mission success.

Hook ends can be customised to suit any deck plates, and aircraft types. If you have a bespoke requirement, please speak to a member of our dedicated team.
We are working alongside many OEMs to help them with new ground support equipment, obsolescence solutions and much more.

About Combined Naval Event

This is the 10th iteration of this meeting, the second time we have co-located three events, and the first time we have launched our Surface Fleet Technology meeting. With the Naval Damage Control Event taking place at the same venue, this will maximise the benefit to our attendees. It is a pleasure to welcome you once more to Farnborough, which with its size and links will be our home for the foreseeable future. We are looking to welcome >1,500 attendees representing >50 nations and >200 companies.

It will have been a year since we last met and the maritime environment is emerging as key priority for NATO and its partners. Future Surface Fleet developments, ensuring comprehensive Underwater Defence and Security, and maintaining world beating Submarine Technology and Surface Fleet Technology are central tenants to this. The combination of the four help countries to develop their maritime capabilities, ensure freedom of navigation is not threatened and when necessary, sea control and denial are achieved.

The intent is for a wide cross-section of attendees from international navies, defence industry, academia to explore how to align in common purpose that assures naval capabilities match to the strategic, operational, technological opportunities and demands of the future.

About Future Surface Fleet

In an expanded offering, now delivering two dedicated theatres, we will analyse designing, building modernising and sustaining fleets throughout their lifecycle.

We will look at how to maximise platform availability with presentations from both a naval and industry angle, learning what needs to be done to enable Fleets to be delivered to time, quality and cost.

The development and maintenance of trusting relationships between the supplier and customer will be at the forefront of issues in this challenging area.
