Natulab Improves Sieving Throughput Of Pharmaceutical Ingredients
Leading herbal medicine manufacturer uses the Russell Compact Airswept Sieve for efficient vacuum sieving
Natulab's screening requirement meant they would need to eliminate oversize contamination, lumps and foreign particles from their end product. Previously, they used a vibrating sieve, but found it to be an inefficient solution due to poor performance and frequent mesh replacements. To meet Natulab's needs, Russell Finex recommended the Russell Compact Airswept Sieve as an alternative solution.
Utilizing a vacuum conveying system, ingredients are passed through to the sieve where good product is passed further down the line while waste and oversize is separated into a discharge outlet. Thanks to the Russell Compact Airswept Sieve, Natulab's production process is now 50% faster, taking 20 minutes, and productivity is up by 300%, sieving 1000-1200kg/hr.
