A solid understanding of basic noise theory, regulations, risk assessment and controls and how to measure noise in a work environment are key to a successful noise control strategy. Improve yours with a Pulsar Noise Awareness course this coming June in the UK.

The popular one-day Noise at Work Awareness course is designed to give safety professionals an insight into the harmful effects of noise, acoustic terminology and principles, employers’ statutory duties and Legislation, risk assessment/noise survey techniques, and how interventions can be developed using noise monitoring tools and noise control methods.

Experienced as well as new safety practitioners will benefit from attending the course, which can be used as a new learning experience or a refresher, or a taster to the IOA Certificate of Competence Workplace Noise Risk Assessment (5 day course).
