With CE markings for structural steel to BS EN-1090 now mandatory for products sold to the EU construction market, it is imperative that any company designing and/or manufacturing steel structures such as bridges, for the UK and European markets must comply. Failure to do so can have serious legal consequences.

“Most BS-asm HHam EN1090 accreditations tend to be for mild steel only”, said Ham Baker’s Operations Director, Jon Milner, “but as part of the Group’s drive to offer a truly comprehensive portfolio of products and services to the water industry, we have gone that extra mile and included stainless steel to our scope”.
