Visitors to the Health and Safety Event at the NEC in the UK during 11-13 March 2014 will get the opportunity to see the best of British engineering and design in noise measurement by visiting Pulsar Instruments on stand F33.

The firm, which will be celebrating 45 years in business this coming February, will be well represented at this year’s Health & safety Event. It will be showcasing its entire range of noise dosimeters, noise activated warning signs and occupational sound level meters including the outstanding new NOVA range.
Experts in Occupational and Environmental Noise Measurement.

When it comes to expertise in noise measurement, Pulsar Instruments has become the name to look out for. The last few years has seen a meteoric rise of the Yorkshire manufacturer both at home and overseas as it has overtaken established competitors and increased its market share.

The company secured a substantial government development grant during 2013. As a result, it was able to launch a state-of-the-art range of six new sound level meters. These combine the latest in digital technology and software development, making them ideal for both environmental and occupational noise applications.

This latest noise measurement device, the NOVA, has been met with enthusiasm in health and safety circles and is fast becoming the company’s top seller. A die-cast metal case gives the meter superior strength and durability compared to its plastic rivals. It features a high resolution colour OLED display, making it ideal for use in the widest range of lighting environments. The removable preamplifier attaches reliably using a LEMO connector and a unique 30-hour-plus battery life allows its user to extend the meter’s life and use in the field.

Pulsar Instruments has developed a reputation for producing durable and practical precision noise measurement equipment that can perform in any environment. The company is responsible for all after sales advice, recalibration services and spare parts, and provides regular software updates as well as second-to-none ongoing support.

The company is ISO registered. More information is available at http://www.pulsarinstruments.com; otherwise, you can catch them at the Health & Safety Event at the NEC in March.
