Showers & Eyebaths Services has launched http://www.safetyshowers.ru for the delivery of GOST and ATEX approved safety tank showers and arctic units that can withstand extreme temperatures down to minus 40 degrees centigrade and up to plus 40 degrees centigrade.

The company has the technology and specialist engineering expertise to provide an innovative approach to workforce safety which meets the demands made by industry worldwide. It currently supplies to a wide range of industries from marine based operations - including mega tankers and ships, onshore and offshore oil rigs – to pharmaceutical and petrochemical plants, oil and gas fields, water utilities, laboratories, schools and universities.

Janet Dickinson, project manager at Showers & Eyebaths Services said: “Russia is a very important market for us. We are one of the few emergency tank shower companies that can provide solutions to employee safety whilst ensuring regulatory compliance is maintained in many countries, including Russia.

“Because of the diverse environments which Russia spans it is important to be able to provide emergency tank shower solutions that can withstand extreme conditions. This is why our products are increasingly being installed in areas including Siberia and in particular the petroleum plants situated on Sakhalin Island. Siberian winters are characterised by temperatures as low as minus 45°C, cyclones, heavy snow and powerful storms so operatives working in these conditions need to know they have the backup of reliable decontamination facilities in an emergency. “
