The 17 hectare linear park is the centre-piece for the Mudon development by Dubai properties. The area includes a variety of attractions such as a children’s play park, outdoor pavilions for all-season use, a cafe promenade with a feature dry deck fountain, and a green pastoral styled landscape around newly constructed ponds designed to attract birds.

Instarmac’s International partner in Dubai, Tanseeq LLC, supplied flowpoint tropical smooth in natural grey to grout the quartzite stone pavers. UltraScape flowpoint smooth tropical is made for use in hot climates and can be applied in temperatures in excess of 35°C. It is ideal for finer joint widths from 3mm to 50mm and the product’s rapid setting properties allow sites to be opened to foot traffic after one hour and vehicular after four.

UltraScape’s pro-prime slurry primer was applied between the paving element and bedding mortar, a mixture of blackwash sand and white cement, to promote a very high bond strength. The work was carried out by one of Dubai’s premier landscaping contractors, Proscape LLC.

UltraScape’s materials conform to the strict requirements of British Standard 7533, a tried and tested method that removes the uncertainty of site batched mortars and offers, when installed correctly, a minimum construction life of 40 years.

UltraScape flowpoint is part of a BS 7533 mortar paving system, comprising of pro-bed HS bedding mortar and pro-prime slurry primer, all of which are available throughout the UAE through Tanseeq LLC. To contact Tanseeq please call +971 (04) 361 7199 or visit http://tanseeqllc.com.
