When it comes to manufacturing replacement, additional or custom manufactured filters, Croft can provide the products to suit. With over 30 years’ experience supplying a wide range of industries with high quality products, the majority of Croft’s clients experience such success that they come back again and again.

Oil & gas, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, and power generation are just a few sectors that Croft works with, replicating existing products or designing and manufacturing bespoke filtration products to suit new or existing applications.

Start-Up and Commissioning Strainers are employed during the testing and commissioning phase of construction projects to trap debris as a means of protecting sensitive equipment and/or instrumentation. Typical configurations are Cone (Witch's Hat), Top Hat (Basket) or Plate.

During the construction phase spool pieces will be fitted to the pipeline at specific locations to facilitate the installation of the Strainers. The placement of the temporary strainer spools is usually at a point in the system where critical downstream equipment such as valves, pumps, gauges, instrumentation and other process equipment need to be protected during start-up.

The basic construction is usually perforated metal or welded wire mesh. Finer mesh can be fitted to either the outside or the inside of the basic assembly depending upon the direction of flow and/or the method preferred to capture and remove collected debris. The Strainers can be installed horizontally or vertically
