Naylor Wins Lifetime Achievement Award
Edward Naylor, CEO of Barnsley based pipe and concrete product manufacturer Naylor Industries received a special award at this year's Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber of Commerce Awards dinner
Naylor took over the family business on the death of his father Alan in 1993. Over the last 24 years, he has overseen a programme of modernisation and diversification which has seen the turnover quadruple. Most recently, bringing on the next generation has been an area of focus, with the company introducing dozens of apprentices into the world of work. He commented "I was delighted to accept this reward on behalf of the Naylor team: it's a tribute to the hard work of all those who have worked with me to build Naylor up to what it is today"
