The Pedal for Parkinson’s event, which was held in Stratford-upon-Avon, presented quite a challenge to the Ham Baker team of regular and not so regular cyclists, with some commenting on how they’d enjoyed a nice ‘warm-up’, whilst others successfully drained the feed-stations of all their supplies along the picturesque route.

“This was a great day out to get some exercise and do some team-building”, said Paul Higginson, “but far more importantly, to raise money for Parkinson’s, which affects nearly one in every five hundred people. There is still no cure, but there are some treatments that now help manage some of the symptoms”.

He added: “Thank you to everyone who has supported us. I’m proud to work with such a great group of colleagues who were prepared to give up their time and get on their bike to support such a good cause”.
