When supplying whole coffee beans, it is important that broken beans are removed to ensure a consistent and high quality product is achieved. This demonstration video shows how the Finex Separator™ is an extremely effective machine for the separation of coffee beans, providing capacities up to 3.5 tonnes/hr.

Due to its unique patented rubber suspension system, a much higher transmission of vibration to the mesh surface is possible compared to conventional spring mounted units. As a result, this vibratory grader is able to utilize the entire mesh screen area providing increased capacities and more accurate separation. This rubber suspension also provides quieter operation compared to spring mounted separators.

This grading sieve can be used to provide high-capacity accurate separation for a range of industries and wet or dry applications, including food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, coatings, ceramics, metal powders, water processing and recycling, and benefits from the following key features:

• High capacity - Real improvements are achieved over conventional round separators in terms of increased capacity
• Greater accuracy - Full material flow on all 4 mesh screens providing accurate grading and separation
• Lower noise - Patented rubber suspension instead of springs gives much lower noise - down to 69 dBA
• Ease of operation and lower maintenance - The housing design allows for standard motors to be used rather than vibratory type, keeping maintenance costs to a minimum
• Ease of manoeuverability - The separators stand on 4 rubber feet, and can be moved about a plant quite readily by means of pallet or forklift truck
