Pingu's English is a three-level language course for 3-8 year olds from the UK-based Linguaphone Group, already transforming the way that children learn English in over twenty countries worldwide. Pingu’s English is centered around the adventures of Pingu™ and his friends and family in the South Pole, and uses a wide variety of imaginative activities and multimedia resources to teach children to read, write, listen and speak confidently in the English language.

In the last few months, the Pingu’s English Italy franchise has successful launched Pingu’s English in Bologna, Milan and Busto Arsizio in northern Italy. Two further Pingu’s English Schools are scheduled to open in Saronno and Pavia later this month. While the majority of Pingu’s English Schools have so far been in the north and centre of Italy, Pingu’s English has also recently arrived in the southern Italian cities of Messina, Crotone and Palmi.

Commenting on this announcement, Mr. Daniele Arboit, Pingu’s English Master Franchisee for Italy said:

“We are delighted at the interest in Pingu’s English so far from the Italian business community. One of the reasons for Pingu’s English success is, I believe that the course combines the academic rigour that Italian parents rightly demand for their children, with all the fun and excitement that Pingu and his friends offers to keep children interested – and learning!

“I’m also confident that another factor in our success has been the appointment of strong Unit Franchisees with first-class sales and marketing skills, and a commitment to first-class customer service. In the year ahead, we look forward to bringing Pingu’s English to more and more children across Italy. We will do this by continuing to work closely with our existing Pingu’s English franchise network to build on their success so far. We also plan to appoint new Unit Franchisees in key new locations across Italy, as part of our expansion strategy to open at least ten more new Pingu’s English Schools in the coming year.”
