Product Team Strengthened To Reinforce Market Position

Janette Henwood and Amy Sedgwick have been appointed to manage, market and drive forward two of its most iconic brands, Tectite and XPress.

“I have worked in the construction sector for many years and was aware of the formidable reputation that Pegler Yorkshire had for its products, service and innovation,” commented Janette. “When the opportunity came to join them, I didn’t hesitate and I am looking forward to positioning the Tectite brand as the number one push-fit choice for installers and specifiers across the UK and Europe.”

Janette and Amy join an existing team of experienced professionals under the guidance of Marketing and Business Development Director, Phill Jackson.

“A new year is always a particularly exciting time as we begin to implement our strategies for growth, innovation and success, it is also particularly pleasing to be able to welcome Amy and Janette and work with them to drive their brands forward,” said Phill. “2015 is certainly going to be an exciting time for Pegler Yorkshire and we are all thrilled to be part of it.”

Tectite is a renowned push-fit brand incorporating pipe, fittings, valves and controls and is compatible with a broad range of materials including flexible metal, carbon, copper, stainless steel and PEX.

Meanwhile, Xpress has gained industry fortitude and respect for its reliability as the leading heat free, press fit system.

Amy, who commenced employment with Pegler Yorkshire Group as a Graduate trainee, and has moved to this new role from an international commercial position concluded: “Securing the role of Market Manager for the XPress and Henco brands, is a real pleasure and I am delighted to have been given this latest opportunity in my career with Pegler Yorkshire. I shall look forward to promoting the awareness of press fit technology and driving market share in the global market place.”
