Security Foiling on Tour

A wonderful event for Security Foiling because it was the first opportunity to exhibit our products in the United States of America.

Our products, and in particular the MicroPOISE machine and Duogram security features were very well received. Many new contacts were made and we look forward to increasing our activity in the region.

In May the Security Foiling team headed to Dubai. The Cards and Payments Middle East exhibition is already well established and proved to be the perfect place to build on our considerable success in the region. Several resellers were able to visit and spend time with the team, of particular interest being the foil personalisation features that we were showing for the very first time.

Adding text, graphics and serial numbering to holograms in any quantity was the main talking point throughout the exhibition. The MicroPOISE automatic plastic card feeder once again drew many people to the stand.

In June our premier security document conference and exhibition took place in Westminster London. SDW is a long standing fixture in our diaries and 2014 was our fifth year at the show. We again sponsored the delegate, visitor, exhibitor badges and lanyards. The plastic card badge was designed by Security Foiling and a personalised DuogramHD image with sequential numbering took pride of place on the reverse of the card.

We also showcased our MicroPOISE machines feeding plastic cards automatically and manually. It was a pleasure to meet and welcome new resellers from Portugal and Angola as well as our long standing resellers from Saudi Arabia, Czech Republic, UK and Oman. A celebration evening was held on the first night of the exhibition where we were able to personally thank some of our resellers for their hard work over the last year.

Our exhibiting in 2014 is now complete but it has been a very exciting and successful time for the company. Over the next 12 months there are many new products to be launched and we cannot wait to get started.

Pro-View handheld electronic microscope: authenticate images using magnification, IR and UV features can also be viewed. Images can be recorded and compared. USB connection to PC and rechargeable long life battery pack.

Image personalisation: Sequential numbering, text and graphics can now be added to holograms prior to application to the document or plastic card. Continuous image holograms can now be converted to registered image holograms with an added level of customisation. Any quantity with short lead times.

DuogramHD and DatafoilHD: the next step in evolution of our Duogram security feature. Higher resolutions imagery and increased image clarity on a variety of substrates.
