Chemineer’s new Kenics UltraTab is designed to bring key benefits to water treatment and desalination plants, as well as chemical processing.

Independently tested by BHR (British Hydraulic Research Group), UltraTab provides the lowest pressure-drop per degree of all mixing models, enhancing energy efficiency of the process and saving pump energy.

Producing a COv (Coefficient of Variation) of 0.05 in distances as short as 2D downstream from the mixer, UltraTab’s integral wall injector forces the additive through the high energy dissipation region created by the mixing element.

This provides superior mixing efficiency for pH control, chlorination, chemical dosing/flash mixing, disinfection and polymer blending. Additives are quickly dispersed by the element for rapid blending and homogeneity of the fluid.

UltraTab’s integral wall injector also provides simple and effective means for additive injection compared to centreline injectors, which can impede the main flow, increase pressure-drop and increase fouling.
