After many years of product research and development and significant investment in new manufacturing technologies the Delta Fire range of fire fighting products are now well established as a leading force in the global market. Producing their extensive range of Professional Fire Nozzles and Foam Equipment from their Hi-Tec Norfolk based facilities Delta are recognised as a leading UK Manufacturer in this specialist field.

The DF130 mobile foam unit forms an integral part of Delta’s Portable Foam Equipment Range and has become an increasingly popular choice in a wide spectrum of industry sectors around the world.

This high capacity foam station is designed to provide fast, efficient ‘one man’ deployment in the protection of all high risk areas. Commonly used in oil storage terminals, fuel loading bays, paint /solvent stores and engine rooms the ergonomically designed DF130 is incredibly versatile.

Fitted with a high capacity, chemically resistant, 130 litre GRP foam tank the DF130 Mobile Foam Unit is capable of producing an impressive 34,000 litres of finished low expansion foam over a run time in excess of 20 minutes.

A 15 metre length of Nova Type 3 layflat fire hose connects the unit to a pressurised water supply and a Delta Z-Series inductor introduces the foam concentrate into the water stream where a second 15 metre hose ducts the finished foam to a Delta HV Series low expansion foam branchpipe fitted with a ball valve ‘on/off’ control for ease of operator use.

The Delta DF130 Mobile Foam Unit is available in both Mk1 & Mk2 versions. The Mk 2 is specifically designed for use in harsh environment marine conditions and fitted with corrosion resistant gunmetal fittings and stainless steel branchpipe. Both options are MED approved and Lloyds Registered.

The DF130 mobile foam unit is supplied as standard in the 225 litre per minute version with British Instantaneous fittings but is also available in 450 and 900 litres per minute options and can be fitted with any International fittings for compatibility of use.

The current Libyan contract is for the initial supply of 35 x DF130 units and marks another success for Delta’s export team in 2014.
