Africa is rich in opportunities and potential and is home to seven out of ten of the worlds’ fastest growing economies. PLG Exhibitions of Nairobi have requested a SuperCatex Exhibition to be incorporated into the British Sourcing Fair.

SuperCatex will represent a minimum of 225 British Exporters across all sectors of industry.

SuperCatex was devised in association with the UK Department of Trade and Industry in 1997, and has managed 122 exhibitions in places as diverse as the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Australia and has developed over 432,000 qualified sales leads for British Exporters.

SuperCatex provides a vehicle for matching exporters with qualified buyers and potential commercial partners. Many visitors to SuperCatex will be seeking new products to add to their existing portfolio … some will be seeking joint ventures. All visitors are pre-qualified as potential business partners.

The exhibition will serve as a forum for British Exporters to link and network with businesses and entrepreneurs from Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Sudan and Ethiopia.

The exhibition is endorsed and supported by Kenya Association of Manufacturers, Kenya Export Promotion Council, Kenya Ministry of Trade, Kenya National Chambers of Commerce & Industry, Uganda Export Promotion Board, East African Community Secretariat, East African Business Council and the Kenya Investment Authority.

The organisers have kindly agreed to meet all on-ground costs for SuperCatex which means British Exporters only pay a small administration fee to be represented at the exhibition.

James O’Sullivan, SuperCatex Show Organiser, commented “this is a great opportunity for SME’s to have their company literature on display to pre-qualified businesses and to receive a report at the end of each day with the full contact details of the individual that is interested in their product or service”.

“The show organisers and sponsors see the value of SuperCatex for attracting qualified visitors and will be using their own databases to ensure the best matchmaking for our VIP invitations – it’s simple really, we only invite those companies that would have an interest in the catalogues on display”.
