The Vertical High Shear Mixer
Ideal for products requiring a smooth finish such as soups, sauces and dressings, a DCN High Shear Mixer doesn’t simply mix but emulsifies, homogenises, solubilises, suspends, disperses and disintegrates solids.

The exceptionally rapid DCN mixing action substantially reduces process times compared with conventional agitators and mixers. It can be used in conjunction with any steam jacketed kettle or transfer vessel improving quality, product consistency and process efficiency.

The Mixer is mounted on a mobile adjustable stand giving the added benefit of use in multiple vessels within a food factory environment. The stand can also be raised and lowered to ensure the product is evenly mixed – even in those hard to reach areas at the bottom of the vessel.

DCN High Shear Mixers will:

• Process from 5 to 1500 litres
• Create stable emulsions and suspensions
• Reduce particle size
• Rapidly dissolve solids
• Accelerate reactions

A typical DCN Mixer is driven by a 7.5kW mechanical fixed drive, however bespoke designs are available to suit customer vessel sizes. It is manufactured in the UK out of grade 316 stainless steel.
