Major New Chinese Pharmaceutical Plant Chooses Pfaudler For Glass-Lined Vessels And TCUs

Pfaudler has won a contract to supply forty-three glass-lined reactor vessels and nine Thermal Control Units (TCUs) for a major new pharmaceutical plant in Southern China

Responsible for the design of the TCU heating and cooling systems (design range of -29/+200oC) Pfaudler-Balfour in Leven, Scotland have been working in close consultation with Robbins & Myers Process Solutions Group company Suzhou Pfaudler (based in China), who are manufacturing glass-lined reactor vessels (ranging from 50 to 3000L) and fabricating the TCUs.

Pfaudler’s design-build capability and proven track record helped secure this significantly large order for process plant equipment. This latest contract builds on Pfaudler’s continuing development in China, as well as its previous success in supplying process plant equipment and Thermal Control Units (TCUs) worldwide.

With manufacturing sites located in the UK, Germany, India, China, USA, Mexico and Brazil, Pfaudler are extremely well placed to supply modular systems to any area, incorporating a range of products and materials from within the Robbins & Myers Process Solutions Group (Reactors, Condensers, Utility Systems, Columns, Evaporators, Heat Exchangers and much more).
