Tanks Target South East Asia As Franklin Hodge Create New Joint Venture In Singapore

Karambunai SabahThe joint venture is aimed at increasing sales of its bespoke water tanks to the fast-expanding Asian market.

Franklin Hodge (Asia) Pte Ltd will bring considerable expertise and experience to the region, including the capability to design, build and install water tanks that can withstand harsh climates and extreme events such as typhoons and earthquakes.

Nigel Snee, Managing Director of Franklin Hodge, commented: “The opportunity to form a joint venture with such a reputable listed company gives us excellent potential for growth in South East Asia.

Snee explained that built on Franklin Hodge’s 20 years experience of supplying tanks to Malaysia, the joint venture now provides customers in Asia with a dedicated in-market team for product and project information, as well as support. The Singapore deal is also happening at a time when the city-state is firmly establishing itself as a centre of excellence for water and environmental technology.

In addition to the growth potential for Franklin Hodge, the joint venture also presents a significant opportunity for the products and services offered by sister company Carter Environmental Engineers, who design and manufacture equipment for dust and fume control, as well as water cooling.
