The combination of excellent prices, high quality and great flexibility (1 to 11 parameters or any numerical combination of the parameters) were the reasons why Avonchem were selected, as one of the suppliers for the contract worth up to £500,000 per annum.

Urine Test strips are used for the Semi-quantitative and qualitative detection of Glucose, Bilirubin, Ketone, Specific Gravity, Blood, pH, Protein, Urobilinogen, Nitrite, Microalbumin, Creatinine, Ascorbic acid, and Leukocytes in Urine. (13 in total but commonly sold in 1, 3 or 10 parameter combinations)

The test results provide information regarding the status of carbohydrate metabolism, kidney function, liver function, acid-base balance and urinary tract infection.

The test principles are based on various dyes and reagent reactions with components of the urine that lead to colored components, which can be visually detected and/or measured by the instrument.
