B & V Water Treatment, which specialises in legionella control, corrosion prevention and all aspects of water and waste water treatment, is based in Northamptonshire, and has nearly doubled its workforce in the last four years.

The company is on track to maintain its double digit revenue growth, with an expected rise of at least 12 per cent this year.

Now, with backing from Yorkshire Bank’s Financial Solutions Centre (FSC) in Coventry, the company is increasing its manufacturing and operational capacity by over 40% by opening a new factory near its existing premises in Heartlands Business Park, Daventry.

Simon Ward, managing director of B & V Water Treatment, said: “We have a wide range of customers from blue-chip companies to SME's not only in the UK but across the globe from Germany to South Africa and we are expanding at a rapid rate.

At our sites we need space for our manufacturing department, research and development division, engineers, sales, technical support and office staff.

We took on five new staff in February and we will be looking to add to our workforce when the new unit in Badby Park opens which is where our plant and engineering will be located.

“Our Own Label Product division alone has seen a 30 per cent growth over the last 12 months and is one of the reasons we have out-grown the current building which we have occupied for ten years.

This is a really exciting time because our customer base is increasing all the time and we are building on our reputation as being the UK leader in our field.

Yorkshire Bank’s can-do attitude as well as their understanding of our business is vital to us as we continue and improve the significant growth we have been achieving. We need a bank who is as passionate about our future as we are.

We need flexible lending and support to help us continue our double digit growth as we take on larger projects and extend our global reach”.

Andy Russell, a business partner at Yorkshire Bank’s Coventry FSC, said B & V Water Treatment’s expertise was used by the NHS, hotels, the leisure, facilities management, petrochemical and food and drink industries as well as commercial and industrial sectors.

He said: “The company’s growth shows no signs of slowing down as existing and new customers take advantage of their exceptional technical support and expertise.
Simon and his team have a strategy in place to maintain its upward momentum and are always keen to explore new markets both in the UK and overseas.”
