Together with Swansea’s MP521 simulator, they are situated in the new simulation laboratory on the recently opened Bay Campus.
Professor Johann Sienz said ‘This additional capacity and capability of our simulation systems will assist us to cater for the increasing student numbers in Aerospace Engineering. We are looking forward to hosting Merlin’s IT FLIES UK competition during the summer of 2016 to showcase these facilities.’
Dr. Greg Coss, Project Manager for The Swansea Bay Innovation Hub said ‘Swansea University has proved itself to be a leading institution within aerospace research. The upgrade of the Flight Simulation Suite will enable The College of Engineering to develop new aerospace R and D collaborations with industry partners.’
