The containerised systems have been designed as a solution for remote installations where a connection to a grid supply is unavailable, but other green energy sources are.

Incorporated in the design is an Interpower generator, battery reserve, and connections for environmentally friendly solar or wind power generation supplies. The complete system, which is managed by PLC and an intelligent inverter, has returned fuel savings of 59% over a 12 month period when compared to the costs of running a diesel generator permanently for the same period of time.

Service intervals are also extended, and the number of services per annum has reduced from 19, to 5 in the same 12 month period, which offers further savings with reduced downtime, and parts requirement.

The power for the remote settlement which these units are designed to power, is supplied through the power electronics from the battery reserves, which are monitored and charged by the power generated from the renewable supply. Should the stored power drop below a pre-programmed threshold, the diesel generator, which is incorporated within the container, provides the power to replenish the reserve.

Interpower, who have a reputation for the supply of robust containerised power solutions, have used their many years of experience to produce a package which is suited to the conditions of remote installations, with easy access to all major components, serviceability built into the design, and ease of operation & setup for the user.

This latest product compliments other products available from Interpower, which include standard and super silent diesel generators, marine & offshore equipment, and our containerised units designed for harsh applications.
