Its helical design actively pumps grease back towards the bearing and away from atmosphere, whilst an inbuilt dust lip acts to prevent contamination ingress.

The new design has already been validated through a stringent internal testing programme and also by customers on their own full-size test rigs. X-Gen Helix has been validated to operate at dynamic radial eccentricities of up to +/- 2mm (1/16”) at surface speeds of up to 2 m/s, whilst fatigue testing has shown consistent response even at high speed, ensuring the sealing lip remains in contact with the sealing surface at all times.

Available in endless, split and Walkersele OSJ format for on-site joining, the Helix product has no maximum diameter limit and can be retro-fitted to standard 32 x 25 mm radial seal housings.
