Through constant research and development in the application of solenoids we have recently commenced production of a new solenoid driven internal lock for EV charging stations.

The core of the lock is a magnetic latching solenoid with a spring, the solenoid plunger fits into a specific groove on the charging cable which holds it in the socket.

Once the user has finished charging and wants to disconnect, the solenoid is then released via the charging station user interface.

The lock has been designed to prevent theft, unauthorised removal of the cable, and keeps the cable from falling out of the socket.

We are currently in the development stage of reducing the size of our new lock in keeping with the EV charging point markets demand for smaller, sleeker charge points for homes, public, and business access.
