Exciting Developments At Addfield Environmental Systems As Derek Carr Is Appointed New Managing Director

Steve Lloyd and Derek CarrFollowing many years of continuous growth alongside regular expansion Operations Director Derek Carr is stepping up to take over the position of Managing Director as Steve Lloyd will now be taking the helm as Chief Executive Officer.

Addfield has successfully been supplying agricultural incinerators to the farming sector since its initial inception in 1982. However, it is since being taken over by CEO Steve Lloyd in 2007 that the company began to flourish. Now exporting to more than 110 countries and leading the industry in supplying not only agricultural but medical, aquacultural, and specialist bespoke incinerators alongside pet cremators. Gaining some of the worlds’ most prestigious customers along the way including the NHS, UNICEF, MSF along with many of the worlds largest Farming and Pet Cremation suppliers.

A key component of this growth since 2010 is Derek Carr who has risen through the ranks joining the company as General Manager in 2010. Derek had an immediate impact on the business rising to the role of Production Director in 2015 and then Operations Director in 2018. Derek helped in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company whilst Steve Lloyd focussed on developing and expanding the High-capacity division which has since become a free-standing business in its own right now known as Addfield Projects.

This development is a great opportunity for Addfield to continue its unprecedented growth within its chosen markets.
