The raffle, in support of the Make-a-Wish Foundation, was launched on the Grassmen stand at the Balmoral Show held at Lisburn, Co. Antrim in Northern Ireland which is taking place from the 10th to the 13th of May.

Tickets are available for purchase at the Grassmen stand at the Balmoral Show and at other up-and-coming shows including Royal Highland Show, Royal Welsh Show, Tullamore Show, and finishing off at the National Ploughing Championships in September.

Antony Prince, Director of Sales & Marketing commented “It’s a privilege for Spearhead to work with the Grassmen in offering a prize in the charity raffle and we are extremely happy to support this with the donation of one of our Destroyer heavy duty machines. We hope that the fantastic prizes on offer will ensure successful sales of raffle tickets, and allow a sizeable donation to the Make-a-Wish Foundation at the end of the year.”

Howard Fulton, Managing Director of Spreahead’s Irish Distributor, H.Fulton Tractors added “Grassmen have built up a fantastic following both at home and abroad over the years, and with this have been very influential in supporting great causes such as Make-a- Wish. We are pleased to work with Gareth a.k.a. Donkey and the team and look forward to them doing some Destroying of their own later in the year when they hitch up to the TW35 for charity”

About the Spearhead Destroyer
The Destroyer is one of Spearhead’s toughest machines and can easily pulverise areas of small woodland and forest growth without breaking in to a sweat.
With a 12 millimetre steel deck coupled with a 70mm gearbox mounting both fully reinforced to protect against metal fatigue, not much can stand in the way of this machine.

Beneath the deck are three huge free swinging blades, each weighing 7kgs which perform like spinning axes, giving a tip speed of 83 metres per seconds and bringing heavy scrub and forestry re-growth quickly to its knees.

Make-Wish Foundation
Make-a-Wish Foundation grants wishes to enrich the lives of children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions through creating incredible memories, building confidence and bringing happiness, whilst providing respite from the daily struggles that come with a life-threatening condition.
