Security Foiling Reflects On Exhibiting At Connect ID Washington DC

Security Foiling At Connect:IDSecurity Foiling was one of many exhibitors at the sell out exhibition in Washington, which hosts its sister exhibition in London; SDW2014. The booth was manned by Barry Corbett, (Chairman), Mick Castleton (Technical Director) and Peter Starling (Director).

We were showcasing the world renowned MicroPOISE and its security features.

Our main focus was to introduce our concept of securing documents at the Point of Issue with the unique combination of MicroPOISE Duogram™ HD and Datafoil™ HD to potential distributors and Resellers.

Barry Corbett commented that “We had previously only sold two installations in the US: one was for high security passes for President Obama’s inauguration and the other was for Niagara Falls; we have just finished a record year of trading and had fabulous success in the EMEA region – why not the US?”

The visitors to our stand included countless members of Homeland Security, Security System Integrators, Security Sales Consultants and independent private businesses. “The quality of our first level security features Duogram™ HD and Datafoil™ HD together with the ease of operating the MicroPOISE was a real hit with our American friends” said Mick Castleton. He went on to say “.... it’s difficult selling a new concept but our audience was extremely knowledgeable and appeared to understand the benefits of our de-centralised solution securing documents at the Point of Issue”.

We are now following up all of the valuable leads we gained from the show. Peter Starling said that “The US market, as expected, is very sophisticated and our ability to sell into the market will be determined by the quality of our chosen partners. The hard work of determining who those partners are is in front of us.”
