Lishman Appoints New Agent Natureno Agrar In Germany

TuberLog - The Electronic Potato Natureno is based at Sehnde, south east of Hannover, and supplies a range of machinery, including Gourdon trailers from France.

Ludwig Block-Grupe, one of three partners in the company, expects particular interest in Barn Owl Wireless – Lishman’s internet-based remote access grain store monitoring system – and TuberLog, an electronic potato that alerts users to damage and bruising risks:

“Barn Owl Wireless has real potential because arable farmers are obviously busy getting the next year’s crop established in the autumn, which is exactly when they need to be paying most attention to the crops they have just put in store.

“Tuberlog, which was developed in Germany, is already proving valuable for our potato producers, who need to ensure the quality of their crops and reduce losses due to bruising. We also expect it to appeal to everyone else in the production chain – from machinery manufacturers right through to food companies”.
