The order was for thirteen custom built P25 incinerators. It took a total of three 40ft containers and one 20ft container to transport the goods to its final destination, Magwera Port Rwanda. Each unit (custom built P25) had to be separated onto four pallets weighing a total of 4500kgs per unit. Inciner8 had to ensure 100% accuracy and attention to detail at all times.

There were obstacles when transporting to Rwanda as sourcing a freight forwarder who would ship to this area was few and far between due to a lack of contacts in this particular area.

Alex Ferguson, Logistics Manager, said ‘Not only was this one of our most expensive projects but the Rwanda job proved to be one of the trickiest in terms of deadlines, rules and regulations however we still made a success of this and gained a further contract with the customer which is still ongoing now.’
