Sales have risen by more than 300% in the last three years, led by major growth in regions including China, Asia Pacific, the Middle East and North America. Success is being spearheaded by the company’s UltraTEV instruments for measuring Partial Discharge (PD) in power assets, which won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise: Innovation 2011 – Britain’s top industrial honour.

The new Instruments Centre is a dedicated facility responsible for instrument production, delivery and customer services. It is also home to a dedicated Product Support Team, which provides clients with help, advice and problem solving on every aspect of using the award winning instruments.

The Centre will work closely with EA Technology’s instrument development team, which is delivering a stream of new products to help customers improve the way they manage their assets.

Instruments Director Mark Wilding said: “This is a major investment for us. Our new Instruments Centre is all about providing customers across the world with outstanding service, backed by excellent support, so they can manage their electricity networks better.”

EA Technology is owned by its employees and in the last two years has increased its staff from 183 to more than 230.
