London Taxis Global Aftersales Team Expands

Two new roles have been created within the global Aftersales team to ensure the highly efficient maintenance and parts programmes continue to grow to meet the demands from new partners and markets

The London Taxi Company is committed long term to delivering the best Aftersales service to our new and existing partners based anywhere in the world.

Neil Carter has been promoted to International Dealer Development Manager and Danny Hinchin, joined The London Taxi Company as International Dealer Executive in May 2012.

Aged 43, married, and father of three, Neil, ran a UK London Taxi Aftersales department for 7 years before becoming Operations Manager at The London Taxi Company Leeds Retail Outlet for a further 13 years.

Danny, aged 50, previously worked overseas for 22 years predominantly for Jaguar and Land Rover in the Far East. He was based in Malaysia but has worked in many other countries including China, Hong Kong, Korea and Taiwan. Also, working for US Ford distributors in the Middle East, Danny enjoyed the cultural differences between East and West.

Married with a son, Danny enjoys armchair motorsport and scuba diving but since moving back to the UK, scuba diving has lost its appeal!

Both Danny and Neil have extensive automotive experience and will be responsible for further developing the Aftersales support programme for overseas partners but they also have one other common interest…running! They have both run long distances for charity in the past. Danny ran the East London Half Marathon and Neil ran The Great North Run – they wouldn’t divulge their finish times but it’s the taking part that counts isn’t it?

Andrew Shaw, General Manager for Aftersales at The London Taxi Company is responsible for providing a complete Aftersales service to new and existing global partners and has expanded his team to meet the increasing demands as more countries operate The London Taxi Service. Andrew said ‘Danny and Neil bring with them decades of automotive knowledge and I know their qualities will help to strengthen the overall global London Taxi Service’.
