In Autumn 2018, QED Environmental Systems relocated to a brand-new state-of-the-art facility in Cyan Park, Coventry, from their previous Leamington Spa office as part of a multi-million-pound investment into the region. The relocation was part of a wider brand initiative to merge its brands - including Geotech - into one single autonomous business.

QED’s business furniture and high-quality IT equipment used at its offices in Leamington Spa was no longer required at its new premises. As part of its corporate social responsibility, QED decided to donate this equipment to Sunbeams pre-school who had limited resources on the IT front for both staff and pupils.

Sunbeam Pre-school manager Heidi Saunders has shown her gratitude to QED stating: “The children use the projector and interactive whiteboard every day and it has had a massive impact on improving computer skills at our school. It also gives them the opportunity to learn new skills that they may not have had the chance to develop before and helps in building their confidence.”

The donation has given QED’s rebrand a truly positive start. Dean Kavanagh, Managing Director from QED said: “Giving back to the community is incredibly important to all of us here at QED. We hope that the furniture and equipment we were able to donate improves both the staff’s and the pupil’s experiences at Sunbeam Pre-school, allowing the children to have fun while developing useful life skills.”
